This medallion is made manually of solid wood and then oiled with natural oil certified for use in the production of child’s furniture and for surface treatment of products that come in touch with food. This surface treatment is also resistant to sweat and water. We don’t recommend showering, bathing or swimming with the medallion nevertheless.
Thanks to the material used and the production technique, each piace is an original. No mordants or colours where used during the production; the colour of the product stems solely from the texture of the used wood type, in this case it is ash (fraxinus) – a deciduous tree whose characteristic texture is caused by the fact that it is one of five ring porous wood types that can be found in our geographic area.
