This ring box is made of one piece of maple wood. The inner area consists of an opening with a diameter of 34mm and height 11mm in the lower and 8mm in the upper part.
The bottom of the opening is laid out with leather in both parts, underneath there is a soft filling.
The box is kept closed by two pairs of magnets. They are arranged in a way that ensures that there is only one possibility to close the box: such that the drawing of the wood is continuous on all four sides of the box. (This complicated description means just a simple thing, namely that if closed correctly, the box seems again to be just one piece of wood. You don't have to think too much when closing it, though - you will simply feel when the magnets "fall in".)
The surface was treated with hard wax oil that highlights the natural structure of the wood.
If you want to use the box for a special opportunity, we also offer engraving a picture with intertwined hearts and a date using a CNC-mill in the upper side of the box. The engraving prolongs the delivery time by 3-5 days (the surface can only be treated after the engraving has been done).
